Karen and Justin’s wedding day was such a great reflection of who they are! They call each other “hunny” which lead to some great details including jars of honey as wedding favours, honey sticks as reception table markers, and their honey bees wedding logo. The “sweets table” was a natural extension of their theme and colour palette with homemade shortbread cookies, Jelly Bellies, and so much more! Even their wedding cake was topped with their distinctive honey bees!
It was great that their Christian faith was displayed throughout the day from getting ready, to the ceremony, to the reception — prayer was a priority. Justin’s father is a pastor and he even gave a quick 3-point sermon during his reception speech on money, power, and sex — how embarrassing would it be to be Justin and hear your father talk about item number 3?! With family and friends like these, there were plenty of laugh-out-loud moments throughout the day! Thanks to Claudia Hung for allowing me to second-shoot with her this past Saturday.
