Jenny and James e-mailed me back in August when it was sunny and warm outside, letting me know that they were friends of friends of Karen and Dorothy. It’s March now, the official first day of spring has past, but winter is still winning as it’s currently snowing on the streets of Toronto! Hopefully that means that I can use my BlueMountain season pass and ride my skis for just a little longer!
It turns out that James is a ‘car guy’ as well — when we have the time, we’re both Top Gear watchers and agree that the British show is so much more entertaining (well-written, humourous, and easily just more fun) than the American one. Plus, the cinematography in every Top Gear episode is pretty impressive. James’ favourite car of all time is the Pagani Zonda F. I bet it’s just the super cool look of the four ‘rocket boosters’ on the back end.
For me, on the other hand, one of my most favourite cars of all time (after the classic McLaren F1) is the BMW M3.
Yes, you heard that right! Honestly, I would so much rather have an M3 on my driveway than a Zonda — even with the massive price tag and power difference!
Maybe it’s just because I’m such a huge Bimmer fan :)
Oh yea, I could be wrong, but I don’t think Jenny has a favourite car of all time pick ;)
Anyways, Jenny and James met each other during their time at Queens’ University. Now, James is working towards his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Toronto, so we shot their engagement session on-campus one day after he was finished class. They’re both naturally pretty warm and snuggly, so that helped a lot with the picture-taking! No need to be scared when going to see this dentist!
