One great thing about being a wedding photographer is that you have the opportunity to meet some fantastic new people every time you go to work. Very quickly, you get to know their best friends and loving family too! Gabriel is Sarah (and Alex’s) oldest brother, so this wedding was an excellent way to catch up with some familiar faces. I’ve now had the honour of photographing 2/7 of these siblings’ weddings and by the end of the year, that number will be 3/7! (Thanks for pointing that out, Lydia & Sarah!)
Similar to many of my other couples, Sharon and Gabriel planned their wedding long-distance from another country, so most of our planning sessions were over e-mail and FaceTime. Well, they certainly brought some Californian weather along with them! It was flaming hot on their wedding day, so having Mr. Iceberg’s Ice Cream Truck stop by after their wedding ceremony was a welcome relief from the heat.
Congratulations, Sharon and Gabe! Hope that your family enjoyed their first ever visit to Canada :)
