I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the importance of our families and how time passes by so quickly. There are days when I wake up, look at my son and daughter and immediately exclaim, “How did you grow so much after one night’s sleep?!”
As a father, son, brother, and husband, I’ve been reminded about the priority of spending quality time in meaningful, fulfilling, and thriving relationships with loved ones while they are still here with us versus simply surviving, keeping our heads above water, and providing for material and physical needs.
Our current lifestyles seem to celebrate busyness: time seems to be the resource we can never have enough of. It’s never too late to reprioritize, make adjustments, and cancel or say “no” to a few things to make room for the right priorities and things that are truly important.
