As self-professed “food enthusiasts” (apparently that’s different from being a “foodie”!), Christine and Jonathan wanted their engagement session to reflect that common interest. After narrowing down a few options, they chose Cluny Bistro and Boulangerie, a restaurant located in The Historic Distillery District. Speaking of their food adventures together, they first got to know each other while at one of the many Toronto summer food festivals too!

Jonathan wanted to incorporate a few of Christine’s favourite things into the surprise proposal, so on their 2-year dating anniversary, he stuffed the trunk of his car full of balloons, picked up some delicious Korean food from Galleria for a picnic, and drove to Niagara Glen (in the Niagara Falls region). As they reached the scenic lookout, Jonathan knelt down, asked Christine that life-changing question, and she said “Yes”!
