It was so nice hearing that Agnes and Nate recommended me to Katy and Alex for their winter wedding! Katy and Alex both love Christmas, so they were happy to integrate some holiday decor into their photos at the studio, the church, and at the dinner reception too!
Katy’s family lives in the Kitchener Waterloo region and their family’s local church was the perfect location for their wedding ceremony. The church is over 70 years old, complete with stained glass windows, detailed wood carvings, and a pipe organ in the balcony. Now being married there is another great family memory and milestone to celebrate!
In order to capture beautiful images in the wintertime, while keeping everyone in the wedding bridal party comfortable, I found a beautiful photography studio in the heart of historic downtown Kitchener in the Old Boehmer Box Factory. The studio had a stylish vintage loft feel with its original hardwood floors, white plastered brick walls, and solid timber wood beamed ceilings. Its historic charm and warm atmosphere made it a perfect setting. If you’re having a winter wedding, ask your photographer if they know of any local indoor natural light photography studios that are available for rent!
Congratulations, Katy and Alex! May you both continue to enjoy vanilla ice cream together forever :)
