This heartwarming extended family photo session had people spanning multiple generations: grandparents, parents, grandchildren, and even a furry friend! This session had a delightful mix of smiles, giggles, and cherished moments. Here’s a glimpse into our joy-filled morning together.
Coordinating a photo session for a large extended family can be challenging, especially when some family members travel in from out-of-town. Understanding their limited timeline and important scheduling considerations (especially with young children), I coordinated with the family to find the best session time that suited everyone’s needs. Plus, Espace Studio was the perfect natural light photo studio recommendation for them!
Young children bring a special kind of magic to family photos. To keep them engaged, I make every photo session a fun and playful experience! I get down to talk to them at their eye level and interact with them in a friendly, playful, and upbeat way. As their photographer, my goal is to create an atmosphere where they feel comfortable and free to express their true selves (including their silliest and funniest faces).
Last, but not least, no family photo is complete without including every member: and that includes pets! The family’s Chigi (a charming mix of Corgi and Chihuahua) brought an extra dose of joy to the session.
Whether you’re celebrating a long-awaited family reunion or just want to capture the preciousness of your family’s everyday moments, let’s make memories that will last a lifetime!
