Six years ago, Scott wrote 3 handwritten letters, packaged them together, and mailed them to Karen. One letter was about the “Past”, one was for the “Present”, and one was for the “Future”. She was free to read the first 2 letters, but the 3rd letter was to be kept safely stored away for when the time was right.

Five years later, Karen and Scott went on a walk together at a local park. Karen started to get tired and her feet started to ache, so they found a bench, sat down and Scott massaged her feet. Once she recovered, they returned home, and Scott walked Karen to the backyard. Surrounded by lights in the gazebo, Scott went down on one knee as Karen read the 3rd letter titled “Future” …
