This wonderful mom & dad recently welcomed a precious little baby girl into their lives! Their thoughtful extended family generously gifted them a photo session with me. They wanted to utilize the scenic beauty of the outdoors for their session, but the frigid long winter that we experience here in Toronto didn’t quite allow for that to happen right away. Finally, after a long wait, the weather warmed up, trees started to grow buds, and the cherry blossoms bloomed.

With cherry blossoms, it’s tough to predict precisely when they’ll be in peak bloom and how long they’ll last, but thankfully, we were able to find the perfect early spring morning to capture them as the backdrop. Plus, we found a location that wasn’t as busy with other people, as High Park would have been during the peak of cherry blossoms season. I’m so glad that we managed to accomplish all of that!

It’s difficult to wake up early and get everyone & everything ready for a morning sunrise session to enjoy “golden hour” and to also beat the crowds, but they did it! Plus, accomplishing all of that with a young infant in tow is truly remarkable!
