Esther and Johnson’s “First Look” was adorable — they were so ecstatic to see each other! Just look at that cheek-to-cheek smile on Johnson’s face :) They gave each other a big squishy hug, took each other’s hand, and even went for a little walk to catch up on how their day had been so far.
Plus, they were real troupers on such a drizzly day! Esther said, “I’m only wearing this dress once!”, so she fearlessly ventured out into the rain! Loved that :) Due to the precipitation, it became a fun adventure finding the “perfect” underground parking garage, random nooks and crannies, and generous indoor locations for their creative portrait session — which was a major success!
At their ceremony, Esther’s wedding vows made me a bit teary-eyed. She wrote her own vows, but surprisingly, the phrase, “I will live first unto our God and then unto you,” was also in the vows that my wife said to me on our wedding day! It gave me a sweet little momentary flashback :)
Congratulations, Esther and Johnson!
The more you practice kissing through a dropped napkin, the better you’ll get at it … I think! ;)
